Continued from Email Newsletter... However, I do have some concerns with running out of battery power when I am out in the field drilling all day. I received 2 batteries with the Resistograph shipment. Although Oliver recommended that I purchase the adapter connection cable, I decided just to go with 2 batteries. Now I am thinking I probably should have bought the adapter cable. Please advise! A: Dear Scott, Greg’s recommendation: Go to an Interstate Batteries (www.interstatebatteries.com) store and purchase a 12V/16Ah drycell battery with a 6/2Amp, 12 Volt charger. This is an investment of around $80. Don’t buy a wet cell battery since some IML customers have had problems using wet cell batteries in connection with the IML Resistograph drill. Good luck and feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. Greg Adams with Adams Technical Services is a contractor for IML, Inc. who services and repairs all IML Resistographs.
